This is a replacement part to prevent wear on your factory striker insert.

Made from durable MJF PA11 (nylon). It offers superior strength and a cleaner finish compared to standard FDM 3D printing at home. While built for reliability, these parts are consumable when using certain forced reset designs and may require replacement eventually. There are numerous TX22 forced reset designs and sellers, so exact wear will depend on the design and how rough/sharp the interfacing surface is.

Note: With the ODD TX22 forced reset design, these parts may end up not needing to be replaced for a very long time, or even never.

TX22 forced reset devices, especially metal, can wear the factory striker insert. There is a printable replacement available to prevent wear on the factory part called the sounding rod. This part is the sounding rod.

The metal disconnector will not touch the non-strike face side. The strike face half is the side that will wear. Because of this, there is the option to purchase an additional strike face half to replace the first one if it wears out. Full disclosure, for the Taurus TX22 Reset Device sold on this site, the extra strike face is very unlikely to be needed, but I won't stop you from buying it.
