Description

This is a replacement part to prevent wear on your factory striker insert.

Made from durable MJF PA11 (nylon). It offers superior strength and a cleaner finish compared to standard FDM 3D printing you can do at home. While built for reliability, these parts are consumable and will likely eventually require replacement. There are numerous TX22 FRT designs and sellers, so exact wear will depend on the design and how rough/sharp the interfacing surface is.

Note: with the ODD TX22 FRT, these parts may end up not needing to be replaced for a very long time.

TX22 FRTs, especially metal, can wear the factory striker insert. There is a printable replacement available to prevent wear on the factory part called the sounding rod. This part is the sounding rod. Or Taurus does have a warranty if you want to just send it. (I'm not a lawyer)

The FRT will not touch the non-strike face side. The strike face half is the side that will wear. Because of this, there is the option to purchase an additional strike face half to use as a replacement if the first one wears out.
