This Taurus TX22 magazine extension is a durable, high-quality accessory designed for use with the Taurus TX22 platform in .22 Long Rifle. It is made in the United States from lightweight, sturdy polymer material to provide reliable performance and long-term durability.

The extension is compatible with both OEM Taurus magazines and ProMag magazines, and it includes all necessary hardware, including the appropriate spring, for proper installation. These will bring standard 16rd TX22 mags to 30 rounds
Promag 17 round mags will be able to fit 30 rounds, or maybe squeeze 31.

The TX22 compact mags should also work. You may need to clip the spring shorter to reduce tension and create a little more room for the rounds, given the shorter factory body.

This item cannot be shipped to states where standard capacity magazines are illegal.

You may need to trim the spring coil by coil (a very minimal amount usually needed to be removed, if any) until all 30 rounds fit and the spring does not bind. Springs are cut a little longer for Pro Mag body compatibility, but the trimming is needed for OEM Taurus mags because the bodies are slightly shorter. It will be ~1" or 4-5 coils at most. Or leave it long and do not load the full 30 rounds. Do not overtrim!

Depending on what iteration of mag you have from Taurus, the opening at the bottom of your mag may also need to be trimmed at an angle (give it a slight bevel to make it sort of a "funnel") to help direct the rounds into the mag better if you notice the extension is jamming. For the least amount of effort to install the extensions, Promag 17rd mags are recommended. They are surprisingly more consistent than the OEM mags, and in testing, Promag magazines actually performed better than Taurus OEM mags.
