This high-quality FRT for the Taurus TX 22 is made from 304 stainless. It has been tumbled to help ensure smoothness. This FRT is the most reliable design yet and has been tested to fit numerous TX22 models. It also wears your TX22's striker housing the least compared to any other TX22 FRT design that we've seen.

Some people may say this part is small, but I think it is perfectly average. This version differs from the popular Big Brrrt design because the top edge is rounded and will wear parts much less.

Credit for this design goes to ODD MFG LLC. Use with a metal striker housing is NOT recommended with this design. They claim that this design will eliminate wear on the striker housing beyond a tiny amount of round-over next to the striker block. Even better than the TY22!

While this design is intended to greatly reduce wear, please read the general metal FRT disclaimer below:

Disclaimer: Metal can wear the factory striker insert. There is a 3D printable replacement available to prevent wear on the factory part called the sounding rod. Taurus does have a warranty if you want to just send it. (I'm not a lawyer). I recommend printing your own in your choice of engineering filament if possible. Or buy a replacement (we offer it) if you start to notice wear on your factory parts. MJF PA11 (nylon) sounding rods are a good option. Available here: TX 22 Striker Insert/Liner Replacement
